Overview

  1. Fixed Several Bugs: Fixed several bugs in the game.
  2. Performance Optimization: Applied various changes to boost game performance.
  3. Reworked Most Rotation Events: Team Elimination, Tournament, FFA, Purgatory & more.
  4. Added New Rotation Events: Tournament Of Power, Zen Exhibition Match.

Changes 1

  1. URGENT QUICK FIX: Beerus gets granted a few skills on next load as it was apparently missing from menu. (May take a few mins after reboot)
  2. Stacking Special Items: Fixed a bug with being able to equip multiple special items of the same type.
  3. Lag Patches: Applied some performance optimisation for Instanced Maps in an attempt to make them less laggy.
  4. Ignore Events: This setting now works with newer events, it should ignore the pop-up in order to not hinder gameplay.
  5. Surveys & Votes (NEW): The crew can now run live in-game surveys and votes — a flashing tab (or a pop-up) lets you cast your answer, and results can tally up in real time.
  6. Event Scorecards (NEW): FFAs, tournaments and World Invasions now post a proper end-of-event recap — winner, runner-up, MVP and more.
  7. Daily Tasks now pay Achievement Points (NEW): Every daily you finish rewards Achievement Points, with a bonus for clearing them all — and you earn as you go, not just at the very end.
  8. "Join Event" reborn: The classic Join Event option now drops you straight into the new tournaments, FFAs and sign-up World Invasions.
  9. Tech Package = cheaper shops: Own the Tech Package and select shops cut you a discount (host-set). By default, you get 30% off Korin Shop, Bulma Shop, and Roshi Shop.
  10. Mole Escape fixed: No more getting stuck underground or flung into the void — tap to pop back out, every time.
  11. Hyper Explosion fixed: Tap-to-detonate works again.
  12. Super Beam skills fixed: Charged beams like Dragon Kamehameha no longer freeze you mid-charge.
  13. Clones behave: Summoned clones (Yasai Kai's and friends) no longer turn on the player who summoned them.
  14. Custom items tidy-up: They now sit in the Special Items tab and you can toggle whether they show on your character.
  15. Skill Builder — Terrain (host tool): Server crews can now craft skills that lay down damaging fields/pools and raise barriers, no coding needed.
  16. Snappier events than ever, plus a batch of behind-the-scenes staff tools.
  17. Packages: Fixed a bug with you not getting your packages automatically if you had a space in your key.
  18. Achievemnents: Achievements now pay you per stack to mimic the old system. This is for the legacy achievements specifically.
  19. Saiyan Armor, Banshou Fan, Other Special Items: Should now show in the correct tab.
  20. Whis Staff: Fixed a bug with Whis Staff not showing it's stat bonuses in stats due to the visual stat modifiers being disabled for some reason.
  21. Mud Raise: Modified the Mud Raise technique on Naturon Shenron; should be more viable although admin's can modify the balancing in-game.
  22. Focus Skill: Modified Focus Skill, it should now show the strength, force and all the other bonuses in stats tab. And also be capable of boosting your stat rating.
  23. Bug Fix: Fixed a bug with all players having a 13% visual boost to their strength stat in stats tab. Lol.
  24. Bulma Shop: Fixed a bug with Bulma Shop being completely random.

Changes 2

  1. Purgatory Returns (REWORK): The classic Purgatory event has been recreated on the new FFA engine — it now runs in the arena rotation with proper sign-ups, lives, rewards and its own voice.
  2. Tournament of Power (NEW EVENT): A brand-new team FFA — everyone who joins gets shuffled into random balanced teams, and if a team is short, bosses step in to even the odds. Last team standing wins.
  3. Boss AI Rebuilt: The 10-year-old boss brain has been fully modernised. Bosses fight smarter — they engage, kite, combo, recover, recharge their energy when drained, and never freeze up mid-fight anymore.
  4. Dojo Rework: A brand-new dojo/arena fight engine — team vs team, rounds and points, KO'd fighters stay down and get benched safely instead of being farmed, and a live Arena tab shows both sides' health bars, points and positions (full vitals in 1v1 duels).
  5. Tournament Rework: Tournaments are all-new — proper brackets, ELO ratings, a live Tournament tab, 2v2 mode, and NPC challengers that scale to the strongest fighter they're up against, every single match. Tournaments now hand out epic rewards, fully tunable by your host — each tournament type can have its own prize pool and reward multiplier.
  6. Zen Exhibition Match (NEW): A special tournament where legendary bosses enter the bracket alongside players. Think you can out-fight a boss in a fair 1v1? Prove it.
  7. 2v2 Tournament (REWORK): Team tournaments now run on the new engine — grab a partner, fight side by side, and the win is announced properly when it's actually won.
  8. Match Stats Fixed: Dojo match stats now record and post correctly — see your fight breakdowns after a match.
  9. View Guides (REWORK): In-game guides got a full refresh — a clean new Guide tab, and staff can now write and update guides live without a game update.
  10. Spectate Rework: Spectate Event now covers everything — tournaments, FFAs, Tournament of Power, dojo matches and World Invasions. Pick your event, pick your fighter, and enjoy the show. Spectate Dojo is its own thing again.
  11. Fixed several other issues.

Game Guides

📖 The new Guide tab

Every guide you used to dig through Discord for is now inside the game. Open the new Guide tab (or pick View Guides from your options menu, same as always) and browse the whole library:

  • Categories at a glance — races, fighting styles, systems and more, each showing how many guides it holds.
  • Click and read — guides open right in the panel as clean, formatted pages: headers, bold text, lists, links — no more squinting at a wall of chat text.
  • Always up to date — the library refreshes from the official guides, so new and updated guides show up in-game without waiting for a game update.
  • Made for your server — Dragon Universe is a sandbox, and so are the guides: the crew running your server can write their own guides and sections for the things that make their server unique, and tuck away sections that don't apply. What you see in the Guide tab is what matters where you play.

Happy reading — and less alt-tabbing. 🐉

Tournament (Reworked)

🏆 The Tournament, reborn

The World Tournament just got a full glow-up.

Get in with one click

When a tournament starts, you'll know: a big ENTER button flashes on your new Tournament tab, a link drops in chat (and keeps reminding you as the clock ticks), and a prompt pops up asking if you're in. One click and you're on the bracket.

A real waiting room

Enter and you'll be whisked to a waiting room where you're completely safe — no attacks land, and you can't accidentally start swinging — until it's your turn. Your tab shows the whole field: who's still waiting, and who's throwing down right now. Win your match and you head back to wait for the next round; lose and you're sent on your way.

Fights that don't wait in line

Every match happens on its own private arena, so the whole bracket can fight at the same time — no more waiting for a single ring to free up. (Hosts can switch it to one-match- at-a-time if they prefer the drama.)

Now in tag teams — 2v2 tournaments!

Tournaments can now run 2-on-2. Enter on your own and you'll be paired up with a random partner when the bracket is drawn — then fight side by side. Your teammate is marked in blue and the enemy pair in red, and your attacks won't hurt your own partner, so you can go all out. Win together, advance together — and the last team standing takes the crown (and the prize) as a duo.

Champion & runner-up

When the dust settles, the Champion (or the winning team) and the Runner-up get their moment in the spotlight — and their prizes.

⚡ NEW: Tournament types — and the Zen Exhibition Match!

Tournaments now come in types, each with its own name, colours, entry rules and prizes — and your server's staff can invent entirely new ones.

The Zen Exhibition Match

The headline act: an exhibition bracket where the machines fight too. When a Zen Exhibition opens, the signup names the bosses stepping into the ring — and when the bell rings, they're THERE, in the bracket, fighting whoever draws them. Beat a boss to advance; let a boss go the distance and it takes the crown (the prizes stay with the humans). Every server can run its own cast — expect the unexpected.

Smarter brackets

If a team tournament doesn't gather enough fighters, it can now transform into another tournament on the spot — same entrants, no second signup — instead of fizzling out. Different types can also have different entry windows and prize tables, so a quick-fire lunchtime bracket and a grand weekly championship can live side by side.

Everything above is host-configurable — types, prizes, entry rules, and which bosses (if any) crash the party.

Watch the action

The remade Spectate Dojo now lets you pick exactly which fight to watch from a list ("Goku vs Vegeta") instead of dropping you on a random one.

Everything is host-configurable — the join time, whether there's a waiting room, one map or a random map each round, simultaneous or one-at-a-time matches, and all the rewards.

⚔ Free-For-All Events (Reworked)

A brand-new way to throw down: Free-For-All arenas.

Last team standing

Step into a sealed arena and fight until only one side is left. Battles are team-based — a team can be a lone warrior or a whole squad — and the last team standing wins.

You've got lives, not one shot

Getting knocked out isn't the end. Every fighter has a number of lives — get knocked out, respawn at your corner, and get back in the fight. Run out of lives and you're out. The arena is sealed: by default nobody can truly die in here — a knockout just costs a life.

Know your enemies

Switch on target overlays and every opponent lights up with a marker — so in the chaos of a big brawl you always know friend from foe. Your own teammates stay unmarked.

A live scoreboard built for the action

A flashing FFA tab tracks the whole event — who's still standing, lives left per team, the clock, and the knockout count — updating in real time so you never lose track of the fight.

Fair fights

No building and no science gadgets inside the arena — just you, your team, and your skills. Knock someone out and you patch yourself up a little; respawns drop you back in safe for a moment so you're never spawn-killed. Leave the arena or log out mid-fight and you forfeit your spot.

Built for every kind of event

This is a foundation the team will use to run all sorts of events — tournaments, dojo brawls, grand melees — each with its own rules: how many lives, how big the teams, which arena, time limits, rewards, and more. Everything is fully host-configurable, so different servers (and different events) can run their own flavour of the chaos.

Winners — and the match MVP with the most knockouts — walk away with the spoils.

How to get in

Two ways to throw down:

  • Scheduled FFAs drop in automatically. When one's coming, you'll get a pop-up asking if you want in, a glowing JOIN link in chat, and a flashing FFA tab with a JOIN button. Hit any of them, wait out the countdown, and you're whisked to the arena with everyone else who joined.
  • Start your own (Dojo FFA). Hit the PVP menu and Start Dojo FFA to rally the server — everyone gets your JOIN link to pile in. Three minutes later, last one standing wins.

No matter how it starts, it's the same deal: jump in, fight, respawn until your lives run out, and be the last one standing.

🔥 Purgatory returns — descend into the pit

Purgatory is back, rebuilt on the Free-For-All arenas. When the gates grind open, the whole server gets the call: a glowing JOIN link in chat, a flashing tab, and a pop-up asking if you dare step in. Answer it, ride out the countdown, and you're dragged down into a hellish arena where it's every soul for themselves.

Down here you get three lives — get knocked out and you claw your way back, but fall too many times and Purgatory keeps you. The last soul standing walks free (and claims the spoils).

No portals to chase anymore — Purgatory now drops in on its own, painted in blood-red, and everything about it is host-configurable, so every server can run its own flavour of the damnation.

🏆 Tournament of Power — assemble your team

The ultimate team brawl arrives. When the Tournament of Power is called, everyone piles into the signup — and when the bell tolls, you're drawn into random teams ("Universes") and thrown into the arena. Last team standing wins.

The teams scale to the turnout — a packed lobby splits into more, bigger squads; a small one might be a straight 1v1 or 2v2. And here's the twist: you can't hurt your teammates. Watch each other's backs, gang up on rival teams, and be the last Universe left standing.

Hosts can even have teams padded out with powerful boss allies — matched to your own strength — so the sides stay fair no matter how many show up. As always, it's fully host-configurable.

⚔️ Team Elimination — pick a side

Team Elimination is back, and meaner than ever. Everyone signs up, and when the countdown hits zero you're split down the middle into two teams — Red vs Blue — and set loose on each other. Wipe out the other side to win.

You've got three lives each, and you can't hurt your own team — so watch your teammates' backs, focus the enemy down, and be the last squad standing. Teams are drawn fresh every time, so you never know who you'll be fighting alongside.

Runs on its own from the arena rotation, and — like everything else — it's fully host-configurable.

🥋 The New Dojo

A clean, fair team-vs-team fight engine.

Fights That Feel Right

Description: Rounds, points, and no cheap shots.

  • KO'd fighters stay down and are benched to safety for the round — no beating on a downed opponent, and nobody (player OR NPC) will target a downed fighter.
  • Live Arena tab: Both rosters with health bars, points, KO/OUT badges and where everyone is. Classic 1v1 duels show full vitals — HP, Ki and Stamina.
  • Smarter arenas: Matches reuse warm arena maps, so back-to-back dojos start instantly without lagging the server.

👀 Spectate Everything

Being a spectator is finally a feature.

One Button, Every Event

Description: Spectate Event now covers the lot.

  • Watch anything: Tournaments, FFAs, Tournament of Power, dojo matches, World Invasions — pick the event, pick the fighter.
  • Follows the action: If your fighter goes down, you're hopped to the next one automatically. If your match starts while you're watching, you're pulled out and put in the ring.
  • Right from chat: When an event kicks off, a spectate button appears in chat — one click and you're ringside.
  • See the scoreboard: Spectators get the event's live tab (Tournament, FFA, Arena) even from across the world — with a STOP SPECTATING button right there when you're done.

📖 Guides, Live From The Staff

Description: The in-game guide system got a full refresh.

  • A clean Guide tab with all the server's guides in one place.
  • Staff can write and update guides on the fly — new guides show up in-game without waiting for a game update.

✨ Also In This Update

  • Match stats fixed: Dojo match results record and post properly again.
  • Team Elimination: A Red-vs-Blue 2-team FFA joined the event lineup — 3 lives each, no friendly fire.
  • Better sign-up links: Event chat links now say CLICK TO JOIN — no more guessing what's clickable.
  • FFA fix: Losing a life now grants the reward it was always supposed to.
  • No more limbo: Event fighters can't be yanked back to spawn mid-match by the old respawn system.
  • Snappier events: Arena maps stay warm between events instead of rebuilding every time — and stale leftovers from a previous event can never bleed into the next one.
  • Gains tab flash: When you earn (or lose) something, the Gains tab flashes so you never miss it.
  • A pile of behind-the-scenes host tools to configure all of the above — Dragon Universe is a sandbox, so your server host decides what's on.

🗳️ Surveys & Votes

The crew can now ask the whole server a question — right inside the game.

  • You'll know when there's a vote. A Survey tab flashes and jumps to the front (or, on the classic UI, a pop-up appears) so you never miss your chance to weigh in.
  • Pick an option, or speak your mind. Some surveys give you set choices; others let you type your own answer.
  • Watch it live. Certain polls become a live results board the moment you vote — bars and percentages update in real time as others chime in.
  • One voice each. You get a single answer per person, alts and all — no ballot-stuffing.
  • Timed votes. Some close on a timer; results can drop right into chat when they wrap.
  • It won't nag you at the wrong time. Surveys wait until you're actually in the game — no pop-up while you're still on the login/character screen.
  • Discord too. Staff can post a survey as a real Discord poll, and those votes count.

As always, it's fully host-configurable — who gets asked, how long it runs, and where it shows.

📊 Event Scorecards

Every big event now ends with a proper recap.

  • FFAs show the winner and the MVP (most knockouts), plus the standouts.
  • Tournaments crown the Champion and Runner-up.
  • World Invasions report how the defense went.

The scorecard posts to your server's Discord automatically, so the highlights live on after the dust settles.

🎯 Daily Tasks now reward Achievement Points

Your daily tasks aren't just busywork anymore.

  • Every daily you complete pays Achievement Points.
  • Clear them all and you bag a chunky bonus on top.
  • You earn as you go — points land the moment each task is done, not only when the whole set is finished.

The exact amounts are host-tunable, so different servers can set their own pace.

🕹️ "Join Event" — one option, every event

The old Join Event option got a new job. Hit it when something's running and it drops you straight into whatever the server's got going — the new tournaments, Free-For-Alls, and sign-up World Invasions (like Boss Rush). One familiar button, all the new action.

🛠️ Fixes & polish

A round of squashed bugs and quality-of-life tweaks:

  • Mole Escape: No more getting trapped underground or yeeted into the void when the skill ends — and tapping to resurface actually works now, wherever you tap.
  • Hyper Explosion: Tap-beside-a-player to detonate is back and working.
  • Charged beams (Dragon Kamehameha & co.): Fixed a freeze that could lock you mid-charge with a stuck charging icon.
  • Summoned clones: Yasai Kai's clone (and every similar summon) will no longer target or damage the player who summoned it — it fights your enemies, not you.
  • "Use object" menu: It now lists only real usable items — your skills stopped cluttering it up.
  • Custom items: They now file under the Special Items tab where they belong, and you can toggle whether each one shows on your character.
  • Tech Package perk: Owning the Tech Package now knocks a host-set percentage off select shops.

🌋 Skill Builder — Terrain (for server crews)

Server staff building custom skills got a powerful new toolbox: damage tile pools and barriers — no coding required.

  • Damage fields: Lay down a field of tiles (mud, ice, lava, dark mist… your choice of look) that hit anyone standing in them each tick — you decide the damage, drains, slows, healing, size and how long it lasts.
  • Barriers: Raise a walled box (with any icon) around yourself or your target — with an optional filled-in floor — great for trapping foes or fortifying a spot.

It's all point-and-click in the builder, so every server can invent its own signature skills.

⚡ Even snappier events

Repeated fights start faster than ever: dojo matches, tournaments and caves now reuse warm, ready-to-go arenas instead of rebuilding the map each time — so back-to-back events kick off instantly without lagging the server.
